




















Vico Magistretti ‘Carimate’ Dining set for Cassina, 1960s
Designed by Vico Magistretti in 1959 for the Carimate golf club in Lombardy, the Carimate Chair has become an icon of Italian postwar design.
These examples are in solid beech with original rush seats. Lovely rustic set that are in good vintage condition with light wear and solid joints throughout. At some point in its previous life, one side chair was been repaired with blocks inserted to stabilise (see last image), not noticeable and structurally sound - as the rest are.
